Get an exciting internship or entrepreneurial exchange – and learn from one of Europe’s most esteemed experts in digital entrepreneurship and his team.
The purpose of an internship/entrepreneurial exchange
Having an internship/entrepreneurial exchange is highly valuable for both you and the Ricco Mortensen Foundation. The Foundation will benefit from your unique skills in order to maintain and run its business, while gaining a fresh set of eyes with which to see things from a new perspective.
In essence, the Ricco Mortensen Foundation is a non-profit educational organisation dedicated to teaching as many entrepreneurs worldwide as possible how to succeed in becoming online entrepreneurs. The purpose is to give entrepreneurs a life full of freedom, inspiration and prosperity, while doing meaningful work in the world and having fun in the process.
We would like to show you how a successful online business works, how it operates, and how to utilise this knowledge in your career, or for your own online business.
The foundation and the foundation’s school team are creative and innovative – forever striving to evolve. Although we are a small organisation, we work with the best and brightest people from every corner of the world. Our perspective is truly global.
Your role as an intern
As an intern/entrepreneurial exchange, you will be a leading member on one of our campaigns. You will administer, run and play an integral role in putting a particular campaign together, while joining in on all the marketing efforts necessary. In doing so, you will be working closely with the Foundation team.
As an intern/entrepreneurial exchange, you will learn how to become a project manager, and an enthusiastic part of the entire process from start to finish. During a given project, you will be guided and lead by the foundation’s chairman and the school’s headmaster Ricco Mortensen.
Your tasks during the internship/entrepreneurial exchange
As an intern you will take part in the following tasks:
Attend and plan all campaign activities.
Plan and design web pages in WordPress for the project while finding relevant keyword phrases and perform search engine optimisation using SEO PowerSuite.
Participate in planning and execution of video recordings and subsequent editing.
Create all marketing materials including text and image ads for Facebook, Twitter, Google AdWords and retargeting.
Take responsibility for and begin online advertisement, social media marketing and e-mail marketing using Campaign Monitor.
Follow up and adjust online advertisement efforts by analysing data using Google Analytics to split test and optimise conversions.
Plan and publish posts on social medias like Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter following the foundation’s digital strategy.
Network and create new contacts to increase exposure and create greater connections for the project.
Our team is truly global – with members living and working in Denmark, USA, England, Portugal, Philippines and on Cyprus, where our chairman and headmaster Ricco lives and where the foundation’ school holds its courses and educations.
During your internship you will be posted at the foundation’s school in Paphos, Cyprus. As an intern/entrepreneurial exchange you will get a free seat for all the foundation’s courses and educations during your internship.
Work locations may vary depending upon meetings and other events. You will be notified of these events and locations in advance and can take part if interested.
The expectations of you as an intern/entrepreneurial exchange
You should either be in the process of or have a relevant education in marketing or entrepreneurship – or simply be self-taught and a bit of a nerd (in a good way) at what you do.
You are independent, curious and self-motivated and fluent in English in both speaking and writing. The internship/entrepreneurial exchange is full time, funded by the EU Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs and the duration is 3 to 6 months.
Receive a grant for your stay abroad
The foundation participates in the European exchange programme Erasmus for Young Entrepreneurs. It is a cross-border exchange programme which gives new entrepreneurs the chance to learn from experienced entrepreneurs running small businesses in other EU countries.
If you are an EU citizen you can receive an €780 monthly grant from the EU exchange program. You can receive the grant if you are a new entrepreneur, seriously planning to set up your own business or one who has already started a business within the last three years.
We will help you find a good and affordable accommodation in the city centre of Paphos in Cyprus. Monthly rentals are available from €250 and up. You will have to pay the rent and expenses yourself.
Are you our next intern/entrepreneurial exchange?
We have many individuals interested in being inspired and guided by Ricco Mortensen face-to-face and the skilled foundation team. The number of internships/entrepreneurial exchanges are limited to only a few each year.
